Rafał Szłapa

Rafał Szłapa (né en 1976). Dessinateur, graphiste et scénariste, cet ancien élève du lycée artistique de Bielsko Biała est diplômé de l’académie des beaux-arts de Cracovie. 
Auteur de la série Bler (dix albums), il a illustré Hope: New Orleans (scénario de Radosław Smektała), The Unbreakable Zamperini: A World War II Survivor's Brave Story (scénario de Nel Yomtov), The Boston Tea Party (scénario de Ted Anderson) ou Paneuropa vs Covid 19 (scénario de Tobiasz Piątkowski). Ses bandes dessinées courtes sont rassemblées dans le recueil Salutations de la Sphère intermédiaire (Pozdrowienia z Interstrefy).
Créateur du fanzine La Cure (Lekarstwo), il est publié dans les magazines AQQ, Arena Komiks, KKK, Le Komiks Forum, Nowa Fantastyka ou Vue en coupe (Przekrój).
En 2010, il est distingué par l'attribution d'une mention du Festival international de la bande dessinée et des jeux de Łódź pour Le Point de vue (Punkt widzenia).

His short comics were collected in the anthology Greetings from the Interzone (Pozdrowienia z Interstrefy). Creator of the Medicine (Lekarstwo) fanzine. He has published in the magazines AQQ, Arena Komiks, KKK, Komiks Forum, Nowa Fantastyka, Cross-Section (Przekrój). In 2010, he won a distinction at the International Festival of Comics and Games in Łódź for the Point of View (Punkt widzenia).
