Wojtek Wawszczyk

Wojtek Wawszczyk (né en 1977). Réalisateur, scénariste, animateur, illustrateur. Diplômé de l’École de cinéma de Łódź.
Créateur des films animés Le Sans-tête (Bezgłowy), La Souris (Mysz), L’Echarde (Drzazga). Ancien employé de, entre autres, Digital Domain à Los Angeles et Prana Studios à Bombay. Directeur créatif et réalisateur du studio d’animation varsovien Human Ark.
Lauréat du Prix de la meilleure bande dessinée 2019 de l’Association polonaise de la bande dessinée pour son début en récit graphique Monsieur Ampoule (Pan Żarówka).

Wojtek Wawszczyk (born in 1977). Director, screenwriter, animator, illustrator. Graduate of the Łódź Film School. Creator of animated films Headless (Bezgłowy), Mouse (Mysz), and Splinter (Drzazga). He worked, among others at Digital Domain in Los Angeles and Prana Studios in Mumbai. Creative director and director at the Human Ark animation studio in Warsaw. His debut graphic novel Mr. LightBulb (Pan Żarówka) received the award of the Polish Comics Association in the Best Polish Comic of 2019 category.
